Managing Director of the company, John became a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor in 1984. Since setting up the company John has been successful in developing a wide client base building on his strong links to the estate agency market as a former manager of several successful Estate Agency offices.
Bringing a wealth of experience to the company, John is happy conducting surveys on all types of property from studio apartments to individual bespoke properties and Listed Buildings.

John has carried out RICS Surveys & Valuations for a wide variety of high-profile clients from sport, entertainment and business, and has built a reputation for providing high quality survey reports and sound professional advice with the utmost discretion.

Alex Daniels

AssocRics and Registered Valuer Alex is John’s eldest son, working alongside him since 2016. Gaining a wealth of experience as John’s right hand man, Alex is extremely capable on site carrying out all levels of survey report and valuation. Growing up and living in Macclesfield, Alex has a particularly strong understanding of the property market in this area. Knowledgeable and approachable, he is always happy to discuss the outcome of survey inspections undertaken.

Adam Smith

AssocRics and Registered Valuer Adam joined Jigsaw Surveyors in 2023 having worked for a successful firm of South Manchester estate agents where he gained invaluable experience over 16 years in the property market. This background enables him to advise clients with confidence on housing condition and value. Now living in Manchester city centre, he principally covers the South Manchester, Trafford and West Cheshire areas. Adam’s commercial awareness and understanding of the property market is invaluable.

Lucy Weddell

AssocRICS MSc BA and Registered Valuer Lucy is the latest member to join the Jigsaw family. Previously working for a large company of surveyors as an award-winning member of their team, Lucy carried out work for a wide range of lenders including mortgage valuations, HMO valuations, light/heavy refurbishment valuations, RICS Level 1, 2 & 3 surveys and Drive By/Desktop valuations. We are delighted to have Lucy on board, bringing a wealth of experience and invaluable customer service.

Ruth Daniels

A director of the company, Ruth is the mainstay of the team, liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors whilst organising the surveyors’ diaries. Ruth has over thirty five years of experience in the property market dealing with both sales and lettings and, like John, she appreciates fully the needs of buyers and sellers alike. Her knowledge of the market together with her personable manner and approach is invaluable.

Charlotte Muff

AssocRICS and Registered Valuer Charlotte joined Jigsaw Surveyors in 2021 and is also a director. Now keen to model the future of the company, Charlotte has excelled in her role conducting all levels of survey report and professional valuations. Charlotte has been involved in the property industry for over 18 years, working as an estate agent before qualifying as a residential surveyor. Growing up in South Manchester she has always had a passion for property and uses her knowledge and experience to guide clients through the buying process.

Catherine Fryer

AssocRics and Registered Valuer Catherine joined Jigsaw Surveyors in 2022. Previously running her own successful business conducting inventories and schedules of condition for the property market, Catherine has a natural eye for detail and report writing. Having worked alongside landlords, tenants and estate agents for over 15 years she comes with a wealth of service experience and a passion for everything that is property.

Meagan Howe

AssocRics and Registered Valuer Meagan joined Jigsaw Surveyors in 2023. Meagan takes great care in undertaking survey inspections and is always happy to discuss clients’ requirements. She gained a degree of experience before coming on board fully with Jigsaw Surveyors where she has broadened her knowledge and is competent in undertaking Level 1, 2 and 3 RICS reports in addition to Red Book valuations. She is enjoying her role and has become a valuable member of the Jigsaw team.
